Wildflower honey is a product made up of many and various blooms, depending on the period and the possible combinations of plants that make up the "pasture" of the bees.

Our spring honey is produced and harvested in a temporal space that goes from immediately after the flowering of the acacia to mid-June in the plains and at the beginning of the foothills.

The scent of this honey is fresh, sweet and there are no harsh notes given by the chestnut, therefore it is an excellent sweetener.

Organoleptic characteristics

  • The spring wildflower initially appears liquid and then thickens and then crystallizes with medium-fine crystals (for more details on the absolutely natural phenomenon of crystallization, please read the linden honey sheet)

Olfactory characteristics

  • The scent of this honey varies greatly depending on the year and as previously reported by the floral species visited by bees. Generally we can ascribe it to honey with weakly intense, floral, slightly fruity odors.

Taste characteristics

  • The taste is sweet, without acid or bitter aftertaste, full-bodied, floral, with hints of ripe fruit, and vegetal tones
