This type of cage, called "bigodo" in jargon among beekeepers, is very useful when you do not have time to go to the apiary on the day that the queens made with artificial translating are supposed to flicker.

Each queen will remain locked in her curler, which will still give her enough space to move and breathe until the beekeeper arrives and avoid regenetration.

The cap is attached to the body of the bigod itself so it is not lost and can accommodate a small amount of candy.
